Our Story
1961 marks the beginning of our story through an innovative approach of a Grandfather who blended different kinds and flavors of tea-leaves. Inspired by his creativity, the father carried on his passion and introduced a special blend that combined 9 kinds of tea from around the globe. Handing down this tradition to generations, the Daughter continued the journey and transformed the legacy into a trademark in 2017.
The story of Ygnd El Ras started from 1961 and continues till date, as it was passed through three generations that started from a grandfather to his son and then from the son to his daughter.

Since 1961, the great-grandfather, an innovative connoisseur of tea, who combined unique flavors as one, to form a distinct composition.

The father inherited methods of combining different flavors and achieved a distinguished quality of tea from the great-grandfather. Hence, being the backbone and a true inspiration to his daughter’s career, Fatma, and the main founder of “Ygnd El-Ras”.

Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan
Fatma linked her brand to the Emirati lifestyle, capturing its characteristics and rituals of serving and drinking tea, that is known to be served on all occasions worldwide. She created a brand inspired by the name of the Emirates and the father and the leader Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, May their souls rest in peace.
